Photopainting is a creative process that involves applying paint or artistic effects to photographs, transforming them into unique pieces of visual art. In this workshop, the application of paint to photographs offers limitless possibilities. I will be illustrating dynamic techniques known as pooling, characterized by the use of fluid processes. To break it down simply, this involves creating pools of water over specific areas of the photograph. Subsequently, pre-mixed liquid colors are introduced into these pools either by dropping them in or by allowing a fully loaded brush to touch the water's surface. Further insights will be shared during the time of the workshop.
